Sample Analysis Report

Illustrative sample — this walkthrough does not represent real strategy performance.

This page demonstrates how to review a result. It is not a real strategy result, forecast, or trading recommendation.

1. Lock the assumptions first

Data

Record the period, timeframe, missing-data policy, and train/test boundary.

Execution

Make fees, spread, slippage, and leverage explicit.

Reproducibility

Store the code version, random seed, and configuration with the result.

2. Inspect failure shape, not only total PnL

Backnest time-series analysis example
Review equity, positions, and drawdown on the same timeline (open full size).
Backnest exit analysis example
Compare MFE/MAE, holding time, and exit reason per ticket (open full size).

3. Choose one next experiment

Keep

Freeze assumptions that reproduced consistently.

Change

Change one testable variable, such as an exit condition.

Reject

Record and stop hypotheses that collapse under costs or time splits.
